1950 vent windows

Preparing to install the new rubber and vent windows in my 1950 Champion. At the top where the rivet goes, I cannot remember, it's been over two years, if the little tabs on the vent window goes on top of the matching one on the window frame or under it. If someone can tell me I would really appreciate it.
Also, if anyone has any suggestions about how to approach this installation to avoid re=inventing the wheel as they say, this would be appreciated too.

don't want to sidetrack the thread, but are rubber seals for 50s readily available and good quality?

I bought the rubber pieces for my 50 over two years ago. I am not sure if they will fit properly or not. I will post more information as I work with them.
