So THAT'S whose car that was. What a beauty! I looked it over for quite awhile but nobody was around. Thanks for bringing it out!

And, it was great to finally meet Brent. Last I saw he was talking to that adorable girl from the museum again[:X] Lucky for you I've already got my princess

Thanks for the compliment Bob. Sorry I was not around to finally meet you. I was probably inside having my frostbite looked at!! Man was it ever a cold and windy day..Thanks to Champ for using my car for the eye candy.

LOL, sorry Rich, didnt intend to get into your picture. Judging by the tense look on my face, I must have been very cold at the time or I was trying to pass gas. As nice as Prager's car looks in the picture, it looks even nicer in person. The paint and upholstery look perfect!

I was fortunate enough to receive a ride in this car and even more fortunate to have Prager help me repair my '98 Grand Prix being that my exhaust pipe rubber hangers dissappeared somewhere in east Illinois or west Indiana. With his car hoist, MIG welder and friends at his local Midas shop (whom supplied new rubber hangers), my Pontiac is good for another 160,000 miles. I was so happy to have it repaired that I didnt even get upset when I received a $200.50 speeding ticket in Wisconsin today on my way home. Thanks again Prager, much appreciated.

As for the lovely brunette from the museum that was working the table at the meet for Stude-Intl, she told me that the Stude-Intl lock-box key she gave me was a winner....but it was not. [:0] Good thing for her she's very pretty or else I might have been ticked off at her. Yep, she's a sweetheart.

It was great meeting many of you but regret that I didnt meet more of the forum members that were in attendance. Perhaps next time.

Brent, thanks for the kind words. I'm glad to hear our repair work got you home, but the speeding ticket...That sucks!!! Sorry to hear about that. Hope to see you in person again soon..Also thanks for the Grain Belt! Dad and I had a couple today..I had to share seeing as how me mowed the lawn for me while we were working on your car. That worked out pretty well, maybe with enough beer I can get him to mow the lawn all summer!!

Sorry I missed you, Brent. I arrived at the fairgrounds around 9 a.m. Saturday, and my dog and I checked out all the inside vendors while waiting for the outdoor vendors to brave the wet and cold. Since this was my second year, little Jane Doe knew her way around and can sniff out parts like a pro. Once I hooked up with Jerry Forrester to claim my parts I packed and headed straight home. Mission accomplished, but would have liked to meet more forum folk. I recognized many from pictures posted here. Will try to be there for two days next year. Great meet. Thanks to all.
