  • Well Drilling rig

All complete ready for your restoration is this Studebaker water well drilling truck. Its complete and just as I remember it when I saw it in 1970 when it was being used. Fairly solid and straight.
Located at the corner of In 14 and In 9 north of Huntington In.
Simmons and Brady Excavating is the name on the business.
Bring a saw to cut the tree down that grows thru the truck.

Trees through cars.... never ceases to amaze me. Its like weighing in at 800 lbs, when you finally come to the conclusion.. "maybe I should lose some weight, eh?" How about instead, when it was a twig?

as far as that tree i am sure if you can get it started you could just drive it away and it would leave just the stump

I have been waiting all winter to take the pic in spring so the tree would have leaves on it.
Mr.Mouse has decorated the interior. Nothing is missing under the hood, bring battery cables and jump it to drive away. They had a pallet to proctect the rear tires from the sun.

Gee... how perfect can you get. A neat Studee truck, a well drilling rig (and I just happen to have need of a well or two), and the whole thing could be operational... Ah, to win the lottery.[)][8)]

                That truck is sooo, cool!

I could make a really nice welding truck out of that.

Too far away and not done with proj. #1 yet.

I was just kidding about bringing the jumper cables.
It is complete and intact. Do not know if engine is frozen.
The well drilling equip is all there but probably is rusted fast and not free. Cab was red inside with tan instrument panel.
The well drillers who used it are still in business.
It was a shiny clean truck when in use in 1970s and has been in yard since 1980s at least.

On Monday I called the yard that owns the truck
He said he had sold off the cab and fenders to go on a late model 4 x 4 that someone was building. After setting for many years had had several calls recently on that truck
He said it ran when parked and had about 2500 miles.

call information for Simmons Parts in Columbia City In.
