I need a favor for www.studebakerhardtop.com.

I am doing my homework on 58, and I've looked though all my TW, all my Stude books, and searched this site. I've got almost what I need, but if I could get a bit more from the experts I would appreciate it.

Interested in (car) calendar year production for 1958, broken down into President, Commander, and Champion.

Also, how many body codes were there? (I know them for 52, but don't want to assume they were the same by 58).
J = hardtop I know.
Y...F...W...?

Dan~

The numbers I've found (in TW Aug '91) for hardtops look something like this:

Packard- 645 domestic, 30 export
President- 1114 domestic, 57 export
Commander- 1895 domestic, 260 Canadian, 400 export
Champion- (YUP!!!) 120 export [:0]

For 1958~
Y= LWB (120") sedan, W= SWB (116") sedan, and F= 2door sedan
P= 4door wagon, and D= 2door wagon (Scotsman only in '58)

I hope this helps... ;)

It helps a ton. I had some numbers but was not sure about source accuracy.
On the body codes, technically speaking 58 also included a C and K I suppose. But I guess that is it.
