Nice I wish gas was still .38 & .33 a gallon now that brings back memories. Nice gas station.

That is one GREAT looking Dealership, I have their License plate frames but never saw the Dealership, It's in Escondido in the South, Southern Calif. area. Thanks Keoni! [^]

Looks like Barney had some connection to Chryslers and Desotos! [:0]

I see maybe four models fairly new in 1957 when this was taken!

Could be a coincidence I guess, as Mopar owners are closer to Independent car owners than anything else out there and may have traded some in and or brought them in for Service.

I absolutely adore pictures from the 50s and 60s- Roadside, motels, shopping plazas, and especially car lots[^] I went to his site but had to get off quick- I'd never stop[:X]

Thanks for sharing that!!

AWESOME!!!!!

Keoni, thank you SO MUCH! I've been trying to track down something like this for a couple of years now! This makes my day :D:D:D

Rich, that area of Escondido was once Auto Row. On the other side of the showroom was a Ford dealer who started in Escondido in 1928 (and who is still there). All these places are now long gone... just a bunch of boring bank buildings [V]
