Can't remember ever having seen a C-body restomod I liked anywhere near as much as I like this one. Everything's there - including Stude power! - and it's all done tight & right. Sure hope it goes to someone who'll appreciate it as car art: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/THE-ULTIMATE-STUDEBAKER_W0QQitemZ290428579874QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Cars_Trucks?hash=item439ee 47022

One of the nicest Studes we've seen lately - definitely.

"The Ultimate Studebaker" - definitely not, JMHO.

You're right. That's a fine looking car. I could drive that and grin from ear to ear.

I'm with you, Keoni, if Bob Bourke had had his way, (maybe Frenched head and tail lights) that would be what Studebaker put on the market in ''53.

WOW, if I wasn't spending $$$ on my Avanti restoration I would be tempted to snatch this one up right now !!!

Nice to be sure...still favour Dick S's old black K car as my favourite 53/54 modified.

That is a very nice car, but for me he would have had to start with a Starliner rather than a Starlight. I know that there are others that prefer a Starlight, so I will leave this one for them.

Body work on the driver's side fender and rocker looks a little rough, kinda like I did it! Nice concept just misses a little on the execution. Depends on the reserve though. For a reasonable price I would forgive the bodywork and just drive it.

They are so pretty to begin with that all I would do with one if I had it was lower it a little, pick a nice wheel and tire, paint it a vintage color and be done with the outside. I might go a little further with the interior though, but that's just me.

Definitely a nice car though.

The "ultimate Studebaker" is a bit of hyperbole and I'm not a big fan of the color, but it IS a very nice car.

Looked at it on ebay this morning. Nice car! Wonder if it will meet reserve? Nothing seems to be selling on ebay lately. Big ticket items that is;)
