  • Time to take it for a spin

Everything's hooked up so it's time to take it for a drive and calabrate the speedo, get it aligned and charge the A/C system.

Then we can get the dash on it and get it to the upholstry shop. I should be driving it within two weeks. []

Think I should put some lug nuts on that front wheel too?

Looks like she was a labour of love and you did it right. Hope you drive the wheels off of her[] The A/C thing tells me you might not have the original flathead six under the hood. Hope you enjoy driving it as much as you did building it.

We need more pic's as a driver. Isn't it wonderful when a project comes together. Gonna be a lot of miles & smiles ahead.Been waiting for this project to get on the road myself. Great car

Nice looking ride. I had a 51 (Commander) and it was one of the nicest riding cars I've owned and that was with bias-ply tires. Radials would make it even better. Have fun!

Just in case you didn't make the connection to previous threads about this project, you are right. That's no Champion six under the hood.

God willing, you will see tons of pictures of this car in the future. I plan to put lots of miles on it. It was built to cruise.
