I wonder what his reply would be TODAY to the "R" Series Question. I read somewhere he said it stood for "Race" I would really like to know who coined the R series engines phrase and what it really stood for.

Who really were the guys in management who were committed to saving Studebaker vehicle production and who actually were speed bumps that ultimately led to diversification? What was his favorite Studebaker to drive out of all that he experimented with until 1963? And did he have a favorite he tweaked in the later years?

#1.) When will the "Andy Granatelli Hall of Fame Museum" in Auburn, Indiana actually open?

#2.) Need more specific location (address) where the "Granatelli House" is located in South Bend.

With the famed "R5" engine in a Avanti, they took it to 196.62 mph. Does he think they could have got a little more top end performance out of it; if they had the time? What would he have done different on that engine; if he had a chance to redo it?
