I like the color as well. It looks especially good paired with that trailer. Could the sideboard be correct? Were there 1945 Stude trucks that weren't military?

M series are my favorite followed by Transtars with the fiberglass grills.

I wondered about the 1945 date also. I thought that the 1945 civilian production was still using left over military cabs with the wipers over the swing out windshield.
Also I am curious about the front bumper. The first impression is that this is a later R,E or T bumper, but it looks too flat and the detail on the face look different. Any idea?

Beautiful M series truck. However, I still prefer it in green. Those are my druthers. It does look nice in silver though.
