I dont so much mind the front end treatment but not a fan of the taillights.
I can appreciate the work thats gone into it.

Wondered what happened to this car. He brought it out to the International meet in Portland, what ever year that was. Said he'd had it thirty years and had just finally started (again?) on it. Looked like very good quality work. I liked the Chrysler taillights. At that time they were the only modified taillights I'd seen that I liked on these cars. He was encouraged by the positive responses and approval he got from the meet attenders. Really thought something was going to come of it. Too bad. Looks like he didn't really do anything further.

I like the shape of the car. It is different for sure, but I think is is a real piece of art. I like the fact that it is Studebaker powered. If it were mine, and no it will never be mine, I would put some period speed parts on and in that engine and have the exhausts exit out the side about half way between the rear edge of the wheel well and the tip of the bottom edge of the the tail light. I am glad to hear the car received a postive response back in 1993.

If you had that car in the late 50s or early 60s, you would have been king of the world. ;)

While I freely admit that I much prefer things stock, and mostly only wish that the original designers had been given more control in choice of paint, wheels, chrome and seat designs, I do like this modified car. Not everyone's taste, and yet another attempt to free-hand draw an already perfect circle, but the work is very good, its Stude powered, and it doesn't make me cringe. some of the above mentioned changes would make it even better.

Whatever your opinions of the style...

Looks to be well done.
Those Chrysler tail lights are neat, gives the car the look of an early 60s custom.
