  • 1947 Champion Spark plugs

    Hi,

I have a 1947 Champion sedan for which I need to buy new sparkplugs. The set I have still has ancient reference numbers and I must confess I'm a bit lost in what respects to buying a new set of spark plugs. Anybody can help me with the spark plug references/model?

    I'll appreciate your help.

I checked the NAPA website and it came up with Autolite ASP306. My car currently has some old Autolite 306 in it. NAPA also came up with Champion CHA871.

The original Champion number was J7. According to their website this translates to RJ8C.
