Nice work, you are coming along at a nice pace. I have some 15" wheel covers, but they are only driver quality. I also found the chrome piece that goes under the drivers' side eyebrow for you and some interior pieces that you may need. One piece of front fender chrome that probably won't survive shipping.

If I knew how to post pics I would. Maybe I can get my son to do so and send them to you. Sorry it took so long to respond, had more eye surgery.

Yes I did bob and thanks for the suggestion but I had already bought the condenser after doing some research I found out that the cheapest on ebay was like 10 miles from my house, i went over there and I bought the 13" x 21" condenser for $65 and $15 for the 9" fan. I just need to buy all the A/C hoses, but am not ready for that yet I have take the A/C unit I have tested first so I dont waste my time with it.

Finally I changed my steering gear box, I hope I never have to do it again because I would sell the car. Is a mission to change that is so damm heavy. I took the headers on that side to a muffler shop and we modified one of the tubes so it can clear the gearbox arm that rotates.

                Rebuilt Gear box

Modified header to clear the Gear box

                  Hello All,

I have being away from the forum but I have being working on my 57 STUDEBAKER PRESIDENT SEDAN. I took the engine out and I painted the engine compartment and painted the chassis, steering gear box and everything that was dirty was clean and painted, also painted the engine block. I had to change the main seal on my engine thats why I just decide to take everything out and clean it up. Replace OEM SBC 350 Oil dipstick and tansmission dipstick to lokar ones.

I'm envious that you can work on the car this time of year. Many of us are about ready to put our Studes to bed for the winter.

                          Hello,

Pictures of the progress I have done so far. I still have to do a couple more things, rerun some wires etc... little pity things. But I'm happy with the results. Also pictures of my painted dash same color that am painting the car outside.
