No, I haven't seen them on anything before, let alone a toter. I sure like them though! [8D]

They are off to get powder coated next week so I can put the new tires on. I'm on the fence as to what color. Help me decide, the original colors were:

Cab Olympic White over Pearl Gray

Wheels Black

Current wheel color options:

White as pictured

Black as original

or metalic gray to match the gray of the cab.

Or others here is a link to some of the special colors my powder coater can get.

I'm an "original" sort of guy for most big truck things, so I would go with the factory original black wheels on a big (over 1 ton) truck. :)

Firestone has made truck wheels for a long time aka Accuride. Its nice that your toter has one piece wheels.

I'd do the white myself, I like contrast.

I'm thinkin' bright red, no seriously bright red...push the envelope!Next to Mack trucks of the same era, these Stude trucks are the toughest looking trucks. I love 'em, and this is from a guy who grew up surrounded by K/W's. Junior

WHAT?????? Firestone wheels on your Toter? How dreadfully unsafe!! You must drop that old Toter off at my place immediately!:(

No....? Well, can't blame a fella for trying (LOL)!;):D After all, that is one neat truck![:p] Me, I'd go with the black wheels.:D

I was surprised years ago when I found Firestone on my 59 4E13. Wish mine were one piece. They are a lot to find good tires.

Since you have the white on the roof, gray on the Cab, the White on the wheels will contrast with the Black Tires and the mostly Gray Cab, match the roof and look much better than Black. [^]

I agree Rich the bumper is also two toned gray and white. So the contrast will continue on with white wheels. I like the idea of going original but black just seems too blah. I am really thinking about gray or silver with some metalflake just to make them sparkle a little. I guess I could do some white metalflake. I'll have to wait and see the color chips up close before deciding.

I think I would lean toward white as well - good contrast from the black tires.

Here is a shot of a 15" truck wheel I bought at SASCO last spring - looks like Firestone was popular...

Well my decision was made for me. The powder coated will be very busy fir the next two weeks doing contract work and if I want them any other color but white I'll have to wait. So white it will be. I'll post new pics when I get the tires on the new rims.

Hey Fred I would love to have them chromed. But finding someone in my area to do wheels has proved to be tough. I have one more place to check before deciding and hopefully he can do it and not for a mint.

John, it's only money. I was in the mobile home transporting business in the 60's. I have fond memories of those toters.
