  • anyone interested in a Thunderbolt 283?

    Anyone coming to So Bend swap meet interested?? Pulled from a 65 Lark . Mileage unknown.Was good runner when pulled. It has sat for 3 years.Stock 2 bbl carb. Complete motor with distributor and no bolt on accessories . Will throw in a Edelbrock 4 bbl intake with it. I want it out of my garage! Email me if interested :

    When is the meet? and how many coins do I need to bring (seeing if it's worth the trip) Haven't plan on a trip to In. till Aug. I have a 65 Lark that needs another overhaul, just what to do?

      Don't scrap that car! It's gotta be rare- I never knew they made Larks in '65!

                I have a '65 Chevy school bus that I use as a storage barn.
                Robert pulled the engine (283) to put in his '40 Ford.
                Then he found the main bearing web cracked (cheap ass Chevy iron). I could use this engine for him to put back in my bus so it could be moved with it's own power or he could get his '40 back on the road while he's building his stroker flathead.
