Hi, I collect just about anything Studebaker related, and just purchased this Lions Club pin. I think that the year is out a bit. Does anyone know what year the truck depicted on this pin would be?
Thanks, Dave.

I was thinking that it was probably around late 30s or early 40s. Thanks, Dave...

This depiction of a Studebaker truck is from the production years of 1938 though 1942 of a K series truck. Although the K series was a catalouged model only for those years, some K trucks were built in production years 1941-1942 from left over parts. Most of these 'late' K trucks were exported. They were not catalogued nor promoted by the sales staff to the domestic market.

The truck depicted on the badge does appear to be the smallest K model- the Fast Transport. The Fast Transport was a 1 ton model and I seriously doubt that one was ever converted to a fire truck. If so, those ladders would be only 6-8 ft. long, not very useful to a fireman. One man's opinion.:)

My first thought was 1938.
