  • Michael Bostedt of Sweden this is for you

These are some pictures of Ian Mackellars white 63 R-2 avanti that Mike wants to see so I figured I would take the easy way out and share with everyone since it is the only way I know how to using photo bucket.

the car is at the detailer now getting the engine to look better or at least as good as it can with out new chrome.

I've always liked white with a red interior-----on any car, but especially Avantis.

Saw and heard that car in person, and it is very nice; but leave it to me, my eye went past it directly to that frumpy old '52

Don't know why love 'em, I just do[:I]

          Good looking Avanti.
Someone did a great job of re-padding those seats! [^]
It is very hard to get them just right so they don't look flat, overstuffed or have wrinkles.

The replacement vinyl is a darker burgundy instead of the Maroon original color Red Vinyl, but looks OK.
