  • Spring in California

Our Green Silverhawk came home for a visit tonight. We had Bobby's Car on the lawn for a bath when Herb pulled up in the Silverhawk. His 1951 Kaiser is back in Kansas being repainted so we loaned him the Green Silverhawk so he could go to car shows in the style that he was accustomed to. Plus the Green Silverhawk gets lonely since the GoldenHawk took its spot in the Garage. Just thought I'd share.
    Enjoy

Looks like the Jeep Wagoneer is the only Brooks Stevens designed automobile that you have. Too bad he didnt design some Studebakers....
That's a very nice collection of Studebakers that you have there. I don't know how I would react if I was driving down an unfamiliar residential street and came upon this many Studebakers. I might loose control and accidentally crash my car into your house!

That Hawk is so... Gorgeous, outstanding, beautiful.... take your pick. The fact of that shade of Green being one of my favourite colours doesn't hurt either! Then again, the colour combination on that President is pretty nice too, not to mention the car itself.[] The Wagoneer is no distraction to me. I've always loved them. Always wanted a Grand Wagoneer...[8)]

Yeah, Milaca, I'd end up in an accident too. Though probably a house or two down as I rubbernecked on by.[)]

Oh yeah, and thanks for the photos, Anne. It was a real treat!

Anne, letting somebody borrow a Stude sounds just like you. You're, as they say here, "good folks"[^] Hope I'm on the Wrong Coast someday so I can stop in and see you all (and I'll have a car with me). Thanks for sharing!

Anne, great photos, thanks for posting! That Silver Hawk is gorgeous and about my favorite color for cars, period!

The two-tone blue '55 reminds me very much of one I used to see every Sunday while walking to Sunday School, probably about 1968. An old lady was driving it, it looked very presentable, and she wore a ridiculous-looking hat when driving it (ridiculous to my ten-year old eyes, anyway). I wonder what happened to the car.

                  Thanks for sharing Anne

That is a great looking collection of driven Studes. In fact, without the brand X's those are Turning Wheels quality photos.
