  • Another Studebaker adventure UPDATE-Pictutes

About to leave on another Stude adventure. Bout
a hundred miles. Lookin. Posting pictures
    this afternoon. MAYBE[:I]

here it is at home. Parts ONLY

here it is before we head home. Parts only

This is a 55 champion. I will strip it, and scrap it soon. It has a 51-52 232 engine sitting in it. Is there any need to save this engine? Still has 2 pc distributor, and wire looms for these years.

door panels? email me if present! I'm pretty sure that car should have what I'm looking for if they're still there.

      thanks!

forgot to mention, if it has a Saginaw manual steering gear I would be interested in that as well, but you probably want to save it for yourself.

Tex, I would be interested in the two tone paint seperation trim just under the rear window if in good shape.

Paul, that trim should be stainless so it's restorable as long as it's not ripped.

In fact, I don't need it, but there was just a thread about someone looking for the *55 coupe only* stainless beltline trim... that stuff is desirable and while it is one year/model only it will replace the chromed potmetal trim used on most other C-Ks.

The 2 piece dist. are rare and getting hard to find I would save that.

I would venture all the stainless is worth saving. Shrocks will give you $25 for the steering wheel core.

I am using the steering box, and probably the right quarter
panel, and left door. I am going to save both doors, and quarters.
The distributor and gen, starter, dash, clutch and brk pedals, rear
bumper and front suspension along with other small parts. I am going
to look over it all tomorrow and check conditions of parts. Paul, I will
check the paint seperator. I have two of those. Nate, do you need panels
or just the trim, I'll check.

Tex, I really just want the stainless so the condition of the panels themselves is pretty much unimportant.

edit: if some are missing let me know which ones, I really only need one of the doors, but would take all if they're all there. Now if you ask me *which* door, I forget. I think it's the driver's door.
