Here's a scan of an ad on page 149 of the July 1944 edition of Motor "The Automotive Business Magazine". I was wondering if many of these have survived and whether any members have these in their collections of Studebaker memorabilia.
Were they a wartime only issue?

I have the "Qualified Mechanic" pin. It was given to me some fifteen years ago by Carl E. Filer Jr., Studebaker dealer in Greenville, PA. I wish I had the equipment and know-how to post a picture of it.

Allan,
I do have the gold Master Mechanic pinback which I have had framed with the mini certificate issued with the pin. I have been trying to find the silver example for some time. I know they were issued through till at least 1947. Like Bill Pressler I have not yet figured how to post a photo yet. Thanks for sharing your posting.

Above some of pins directly related to the mechanics or service men. I do have some more but they are still not sorted and placed in the display cases. Below two drawers full of unsorted pins and other misc memorabilia. There are lots more like this!
