    Elmer was a founding member of the Conestoga Chapter of SDC in Colorado. He will be dearly missed by his Studebaker and Packard friends.


    Elmer J. Grauberger

    Elmer John Grauberger November 14, 1930 ~ March 16, 2010 Elmer John Grauberger of Windsor died Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at McKee Medical Center in Loveland. He was born on November 14, 1930 in Lucerne to John and Mary (Snyder) Grauberger. Elmer attended schools at Eaton and graduated from Greeley High School in 1948. He enlisted in the U. S. Navy in December of 1948 serving with the Sea Bees in New London, Connecticut. After his discharge he returned to Greeley and started working in the plastering/drywall business. He and his brother Art started Grauberger Brothers Plastering in 1960, which later became Grauberger & Sons. He worked until 2008 when he retired. Elmer married Margie J. Fields on June 7, 1953 in Trinidad, Colorado at the Zion Lutheran Church. He was a member of His Place Christian Church, Greeley. Elmer was an avid car enthusiast and was a member of the Studebaker Club and the Packard Club. He enjoyed camping and loved to travel with his family on trips. His time with his family was very important to him. He is survived by his wife, Margie of Windsor, daughter Mardell Miller of Sierra Vista, Arizona, son Darryl and wife Judy Grauberger of Loveland, 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by an infant son Jerry Lee, a son Delmer, daughter-in-law Belinda Grauberger, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Episcopal Church. Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

    Thanks for posting this. It was a wonderful service. There was a very nice showing from both the Studebaker and the Packard clubs. Here are a few of Elmer and Margie's cars that were there.



    And one of Elmer less than 2 months ago.



    He will be missed.

      We always looked forward to visiting with Elmer and Marge when coming to Studebaker meets. Elmer was such a jovial guy and with his positive attitude was a joy to be around.He will be missed.
