  • Drove it again! Best day ever in a '40 so far...

    I took the '40 out for its first "real" drive as me being to owner yesterday. It was just around the block a couple times to burn up some of the (still aweful smelling) bad gas. It still needs new tires, but for a slow drive it did great! Except first gear rattles the dash a little, but second and third do fine. Hmn...[?] Still was a great day with the Studebaker!!![][^]
    Now I can't wait to get new tires and signals so I can take it to a cruse in.[]

      Put some Sea Foam in the gas tank the stuff will work wonders for a vehicle that has set for some time. Congrats, I'm sure I will se ya at some car shows this year.

        You might want to look at the engine mounts. That could solve the dash rattle problem.
