I took the '40 out for its first "real" drive as me being to owner yesterday. It was just around the block a couple times to burn up some of the (still aweful smelling) bad gas. It still needs new tires, but for a slow drive it did great!
Except first gear rattles the dash a little, but second and third do fine. Hmn...[?] Still was a great day with the Studebaker!!

Now I can't wait to get new tires and signals so I can take it to a cruse in.[]
