Avanti Resin base?

OK, I've searched and searched.......and no luck with the search feature here........

Were the original Avanti bodies EPOXY Fiberglass or POLYESTER Fiberglass? I know its been discussed on some site but I'm unable to retrieve any info.

I believe epoxy systems were not in use 'til after 1964.

Unfortunately, I'm on the road right now, but I have notes from a Dow Chemist who explained to me the exact make-up of the body panels and ratio of resin to strand glass for each mm of depth. It was almost as if he were standing there when they were made.
