Serial #5442--Looking for engine #-paint color and interior color from the factory.

Contact rhe Studebaker National Museum and get a copy of the Production Order. It will have all that info plus more.

If you need information quickly and/or don't want to buy the PO, I've had some success looking at registries.

I checked the Avanti registry at www.theavanti.com website and it wasn't listed.
Most owners there list the details (color, options but not the engine #) you're after.

Bob Johnstone has another Avanti registry on-line.
It has an ad from the January 1988 edition of Turning Wheels offering the car for sale from Columbus, Ohio for $9600. The ad lists the options as: R2, PS, PB, Auto and the rare tilt wheel.
