Got my Studebaker Running

I'm trying to get Frankenbaker ready for the winter meet at the Petersen Museum in L.A. Unfortunately, I'm not going to make it. The car is running beautifully, but there seems to be an issue with the power brakes. I replaced the rotors and pads, but the pedal now goes all the way to the floor. I'm not sure what happened - I didn't remove any lines and nothing seems to be leaking. I'm sure I'll figure it out, just not in time for the show. Oh, well.



The cars' running, but it's hard to tell. The dual exhausts exit under the car (for that full sleepy while driving feeling).

Have you pumped the brake pedal several times?

Yes, I've pumped the pedal quite a bit. I thought that would make a difference too, but it didn't.

Mine does the same (pedal to floor). I think its the M/C but have not changed it yet.

You have to bleed the brake system Scotty, after a front disc pad and rotor change, even if you didn't have any open lines, etc. in the system. Is it a single or dual master cylinder? Make sure that the rear brakes are working properly AND adjusted properly, (shoes should be "dragging" very slightly), BEFORE you attempt a system bleed. If the system will not bleed with all brakes properly adjusted and no leaks, change the master cylinder.
