Chris, Studebaker identified the black outs as Models 90. to distingwish them from the regular'42 line. 1942 was Studebaker's 90th year in business. I may have some photos of this car in my main computer. send me an email, ltcrp@netscape.com and I'll look them up and send same.

I collect Studebaker advertisements, but I never saw a blackout one for 1942 they exist?

Yes, this particular car was built on one of the last two days before Studebaker switched to strictly was production, so that makes this a civilian car.
