  • Partial SS for '55 C3 at York

I have a partial set of stainless I can bring to York if anyone is interested. It came off of a '55 Champion C3. Here is what I have got:
    308368-9 Quarter window surround
308366-7 Under quarter window, one dented
308374-5 Above doors one slightly dented
    308378-9 Front corners of doors
308372-3 Leading edge of doors one dented
    303536-7 Side windshield
303526 or 303527 Above or below windshield, I'm not sure which one it is!
The one below the windshield is the same on C3 and C5, the one above is different.

Mostly the pieces are in good shape with only surface scratches.
The ones that are dented can be fixed I am sure, $100 for all of it.
Sorry, but I don't want to break up the set.

I don't think you're asking too much. It's just those who need it aren't necessarily visiting the Forum every day and this is short notice. The majority of those who need it aren't even aware the Forum exists.

Bring it with you, post your list on the bulletin board with contact information (cell phone # ?) or have a vendor you know display it.

If it doesn't sell advertise it in TURNING WHEELS

Won't be at York and likely not at SB. (But who knows).

        Got pictures?

I do! I also have the pieces that go under the window on the doors.
The first picture shows the worst dents.

Chip, I would think it would sell, and your price seems fair. Hard to expect much interest in 6 hours on one weekday here. Even people who frequent the forum don't look in every day.

By responding to the thread we're bumping it back to the top- that's the best thing you can do here, just keep it visible for the relatively few who look in. As Brad said, bring it and give it a try; that's the way to go. Looking forward to seeing you there![^]

Sorry, it's a sleeper and MUCH too heavy to carry by myself! It is quite comfy, though!
