  • Help finding a photographer needed

I'm trying to find the person that took these pictures- somebody must know who it is:

This is a 1951 Studebaker Commander Starlight Coupe driven by Ted Harbit. The car has a rich and impressive history. In 1962 it was entered it in the NHRA National Drags in stock class and won the class. In 11 years it won the class 8 times. Ted has continued to race the car since that time. On May 9th 2009, Ted was involved in a crash at the Muncie Dragway. As you can see, the Chicken Hawk suffered major damage. Ted was taken to a local hospital and is healing at home.

All I know is he's from Indianapolis. Can anyone help??

Bob, just clicking around on that flickr page, I found two clues. The album is apparently owned by a James Clear. On the Chicken Hawk page, there is one comment from a Rene Ortega that includes a slightly personal comment. So maybe it is James Clear and/or you might find that Rene Ortega and he can tell you who you are looking for. Also, with the name, you might be able to contact flickr and ask them for info.

The link for this page was originally found on the North Carolina Studebaker Driver's Club website: http://www.ncsdc.net/My_Homepage_Files/Page3.html
Perhaps NCSDC president and webmaster of the site Jack White can help you. He is a forum member here.

Bob: Just sent a request via the e-mail link in the photographer's profile asking asking him to contact either you or me re his Ted Harbit pics. May not help but can't hurt. I'll let you know if I get a response.

Turns out his name's James Keesling. If you didn't get his reply let me know and I'll forward [8D].
