Very bad ending to a really good car. I lost the car and part of my anatomy on this one, it doesn't always happen to somebody else.

I'm doin' fine. The car was in a rented garage, no one got hurt. This happened on Jan 9 2008. The guy I was renting the space from lost a 32 Plymouth convertible that he got to show one time after he finished it. He also lost a bunch of restored neon signs and a fully restored Cushman Eagle. I had had the car painted, new engine, new carpet all new rubber, brakes, and a stereo. I got what I paid for it originally. Bummer.

                OUCH.

The "before" shot closely resembles a very nice red '64 in our local chapter. Hurts to imagine that car finishing up thus...[V]

The fire was deemed to be of "undetermined origin". The local fire department was about 400 feet from the building. The fire was discovered about 2:30 in the morning by a passing trucker. He went to the fire dept.and beat on the door to report it. Unfortunately there was a sporting goods store in the front of the building, and the firemen had to retreat when the building started "shooting" at them from all the exploding ammunition.
