  • I know I should be working on it, but...

..it's just too much fun driving it! . There are plenty of "fixits" I should be addressing. There's always next week.

I was out cruising today and took a few pictures...

Certainly none of the Hawaii guys I've ever hung out with.

Dick, I think I'm in love with your car. If I were to sleep with it, would that be considered adultery or Avantery? [8D]

                        Dick,

You can't say that all of us Avanti owners didn't warn you!

Avanti ownership is a disease but once you have it .... There is no cure!

The Avanti looks great Dick. I also had my 66 Commander out a couple of weeks ago weather permiting. It was great because I suffering from withdraws.

I'd take the 4 speed in a heartbeat. It would make it a completely different car. The auto (especially with the second gear start) is a little too "lazy" for me. It makes it more of a "personal luxury car" () instead of a sporty car ().

Let me know if you want to trade

It is a very nice driving car. This one has all new suspension parts, new springs and shocks, rebuilt PS system, all new brakes and booster. It handles quite nicely. It's comfortable and smooth.

Yours will be VERY special John. This one is about as plain as they came.
