"Lost" Fire Engine in B.C.

Looks like a truck made from a car. That sort of thing was not uncommon in the early years. The bed is so small that there would not have been room for a lot of equipment, but it was lots faster than the horse drawn rigs from a few years earlier.

That's most likely a "Chief's Car" or a car used for the drill games that firemen from different departments used to compete in.
