That's the reason! Today is officially "Intl. start your stude day" because on February 16th 1852, Studebaker was born and the very first Studebaker farm wagon was made!!!:D Ironically, February 16th 1994 is also MY birthday! So today I am 16 and Studebaker is 158!:D Start a Studebaker today!!! So, instead of doing my usual "Chris' other eye candy", I want to just post some of my personal favorites tonight.:)

Hey Chris, where did you get the picture of the Frua Lark? You may not know that several years ago a Califonria Stude nut named Pat Drnec bought two Frua Larks in Italy and brought them back to Los Angeles. He hasn't surfaced lately and may have lost interest in Studebakers.

That was just a pic I found on the net by searching: "Studebaker Italia Fura" and that's what I got. I rememberd seeing an article about them in an old TW and for some reason remembered the name "Italia Fura" for about 10 years![:p] I'm not sure what the current status of the two origionals is now though.[?]

Just got back from Tippiecanoe Place. I had their "Studebaker cut" prime rib, medium rare. Man, that was good! If you haven't been there in a long time because of bad food a while ago, try them again. The new management has done wonders for the place. At request, I even got to eat in Mr. Studebakers den, all to myself and family! The food was the best prime rib I have ever had, and I'm usually pickey when it comes to eating a block of cow![:p][:0] They get an A+ from me.:D
