It is hard to tell, but on the Deck Lid of that '54 Sedan it looks like one of those AAA oval chrome emblems that usually said how many years you were with the club on it. [:0]

So he or she is in good hands! Covered, or maybe the survivors are! [^]

To end up in that position, wouldn't you have to slide sideways into the pole and then spin around it 180 ? [:0]

Since there is a hill to the right, and a cable barrier to the foreground, it seems the Stude. came from the opposite direction, not the way the '58 Chev. Bel Air is going, MAYBE! [:0]

Got sideways when he hit 2nd gear, he was used to driving Studebaker sixes.

Yes:: This car was coming from the opposite direction and the pole is actually holding the rear of the car in the air several feet.....
