That third light looks good! It almost (almost) makes me want to install a similar one in my Lark...but I don't know yet...The two that it has so far are very bright and at eye level....but after seeing this it is a debate...

Anything I can do to minimize the chances of some knucklehead crashing into the back of this car is worth it. I will also have LED taillights.

Sdude,

Did you use staples to install the windlace? Mine Mine keeps falling out!

Oh, Nice job on the headliner. I made mine by hand from a VW Bus liner. Cut, snip, sew ( cut, chop, rebuild).

That headliner looks great...did you install that 3 point safety harness yourself ? If so, was it difficult to do ?...John

If the third light is not sealed to the glass won't it light up the interior everytime you use the brakes? Might be a nice effect esp at night.

How about the backglass installation? Would like to know how that goes. Installed one in my 1951 commander sedan. It is in there, but needs redoing. Had problems. Also do you plan to use the stainless moulding trim.

Can you give out phone number of the guy who is doing your interior. Looks great from hear. Also, I am so close to you I would like to use you for information on your build. Also, please expand a little on your seat belts. That is way cool.

For those that don't already know, I am not doing the work myself. The interior will be completed by ABC Upholstry in Vacaville. You can talk with Gary or Kurt at 707-446-2390.

So, any technical questions will have to go unanswered by me. The seat belts were purchased at American Pastimes in Carmichael. Typical hot rod stuff.

The car is a Champion and not a Land Cruiser. I wish it was a Land Cruiser as I could use a few more inches in the back seat. Moving the firewall 8 inches into the cabin cramped us up a little bit. We moved the front seat back as far as we thought we could get away with and still be able to mount the shoulder harness between the doors. Leg room in the back seat is tight but I don't plan to ride in the back often so it'll have to do. We'll see how comfortable it is on long trips when I drive it to Arizona for the Intl meet.

I can always re-do the seats with modern units if the comfort level is not there. Hopefully I'll be able to drive it in a month or so.

Roy, come on by our next meeting at the Hof Brau in Sacramento on the 21st. I will bring my book for you to look at.
