Maybe Allen means the Truck H.D. 5 speed, that would be the only bolt-on Studebaker 5 Speed clutch housing there is! [:0]

These have the same bolt pattern as the H.D. 4 Speed T-98, but are thicker for the New Process 5 Direct or 5 O.D. if they are the real deal. They require a "C" or "T" Cab Truck to install them in. [:0]

Just an FYI. The heavy duty 4 spd truck transmission is a New Process 420. My 8E28A has one.

Ok, the T-98 IS a heavy Duty serious TRUCK 4 Speed Trans. with a compound Low, but I misspoke calling it a H.D. because technically as Transtar60 said, Studebaker HAD a 4 Speed actually called a "Heavy Duty 4 Speed", it could be described as WAY Heavy Duty, for the Diesel. [^]
