I'm having the brakes redone on my 52 commander. The shop doing the job thinks the shoes are on wrong as the primary shoe is on the front with the smaller shoe to the rear. Which is correct? Some advice please.

That would be correct, it confuses most "car guys" as they need to be Backwards to MOST cars and all of the self adjusting hardware; all $84.00 worth of it, in place to get a good "pedal".
