  • There's a good chance we're getting another one!

Special thanks to Alphues for his post on the '60 Lark wagon in Bakersfield, CA! We contacted the owner and will be driving over on Sunday with a trailer. He sent us a few more pictures of the vehicle and we were pleased with what we saw. The owner says that there is zero rust.

We were just wondering if anyone out there knew anything about this particular car that they could share?

Wish us luck...this could be the wagon that John's been hoping for!

Awesome! As a station wagon owner, I can be pretty darn sure you'll love it! I'd just check for rust, just to make sure. Also, check the rain gutters, and rust there can be difficult to fix I'm told. Thankfully, my car was pretty good.

You folks have come a long way from the Karl the original lark. It looks like nice wagon. Hope it looks that good in real life and you can trailer it home.

        Nice find.

Wow That looks really good I sure hope the Car lives up to the pictures. 63larkcustom had one like this about 4 years ago. What a fun Car. Check out those rain gutters for sure a friend bought one looked good until he got to poking around. He ended up parting it out.

That looks like a very nice and VERY RARE Regal 4 Dr. Wagon with the nice door panels, seat material, Dash etc.! [^]
There are not many left with non-trashed Interiors.
There were enough of these built, but not many saved.

With a V-8 Automatic, conversion it would make a great driver! []

Beautiful! The only problem I see is how are you going to drive all three Studebakers to car shows?

That's easy; trailer the Prez or the wagon (to alternating shows) behind the 2R, while driving whichever car isn't being trailered...

In Arizona it is legal to multiple tow bar cars (no more that three plus tow vehilce.) Kind of fun following the car trains on I-19 towards the border after the car auction. I can see the faces at the Nationals now.
