  • Wanna get sick ? (rusty boys take notice!!)

Check out this nice looking eBay Cruiser that this guy is cutting up: 250570850545 (eBay #).....I don't see ANY rust at all in the few pics the guy has up so far......having lived in Texas, I drooled over some of the cars and their condition they were in....darn shame..I'll bet the inside is pretty dried and cracked up, but from what I can see outside the body, paint, fenders, quarters etc...look unbelievable. Sad reality of what some folks in dry country think of Stude values.....Do you think he can do better in parts vs. whole car sale????

Looks like a very clean car. The paint looks nice.

Wow, that's a shame...from what I can see that car's in much better nick than my '62...and I'd never dream of parting-out ol' Betty!

            1. The seller of the window MAY have just pictured that car to give buyers an idea of what kind of car it came out of.

            2. If he is parting THAT car, those that feel it "should be against the law" for someone to do what they want to do with their own possessions, should contact the seller and buy the whole car. That way, YOU can do whatever you want with it.

He's been parting that Crusier out for the last several weeks. If I recall correctly they are using the engine and drive train on the son's car, and then parting out the glass, bumpers, etc on the Cruiser.

darn shame - I would have loved that body on my chassis with my running gear.

That's how I ended up with my '57 Champion. The eBay ad was for a right front fender, but the pictures showed it was clearly still attached to a car!!! [:0] In asking about the car- I decided to go after it. Actually, my brother Mike went down and got it for me, as I was off on some BIG grey boat somewhere. He needed to make the trip anyway, so we split the fuel bill.

The car (Jewel) is now in the corner of my shop~
