Transtar56, I certainly don't have the info from the owner, but I can tell you that Candy Apple Brandywine over a gold base and of all things, 1966 thru 1969 Ford Vintage Burgandy looks to me exactly like that car in the photo. You would put a slightly tinted (with color) clear coat, then regular clear coats over the Ford color, but I've used both and they are gorgeous and so similar from 3 ft. away, that most folks don't notice the difference. If you're a painter, you might see how she likes either one or both of those, bet she will. John

Go back and listen to the dialogue in the video - they mention the name of the shop that did the restoration. Contact them and maybe they will share the paint brand/mix info. IIRC, the video called the color "Volcano." That color is an outstanding choice on the Packard Hawk. That and the deletion of the trunk faux continental overlay transform that car.

I think that Shadowtone Red was much more of a purple red than what is on this Packard Hawk. While looking up colors I found this http://www.raylinrestoration.com/Tec...PaintForms.htm

Isn't that the same color as Joe Parsons 1958 Golden Hawk?

That is real similar to the color we put on a truck I had,But it was a custom mix with no name,But any good painter can mix up something and come real close though just show him the pics. as that is what I did.
