Another 58L-J8
We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

One of our Potomac Chapter members has two '58 hardtops, but a tree is growing up through one of them.

I've actually laid hands on this particular 58. It belonged to a fella that was restoring another 58 Pacakrd Hdtp and he kept this one as a possible donor. I would surmize that he's sold the project car (it was never gonna get finished and he knew that) or has met his demise (I hope not!).
He also had a 59 Lark hartop that he wanted to sell me for $500. Supposedly, it ran good. Of course, it needed everything cosmetic.[:I]
If I can find this guy's PH# in my mess here, I'll call and find out what's happened to the resto Packard and the Lark. The Packard he was restoring was a primo example to start with and the only thing that kept me from giving it a home was the $5500 price tag. I thought it was too much for a car that was roll-worthy but had everything except the sheet metal in boxes.[V]
Miscreant adrift in
the BerStuda Triangle
1957 Transtar 1/2ton
1960 Larkvertible V8
1958 Provincial wagon
1953 Commander coupe
No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.
