  • Look what's going to the crusher

Of course I have to spend all day taking the reusable parts off it.[}]
The motor & tranny are sold (259 full flow/4 speed w/Chevy bolt pattern) and will be delivered to York (weather permitting).
I am debating on saving the rr quarter. It does have rust through between the wheel well and the door. Would it be worth $50 to anyone do you think?

No soft interior pieces are usable. Seats are not reclining.

The frame is covered with surface rust.
No rust through on the frame and no crash damage.
Should I save the frame for the York swap meet?

I know I am going to save the batwing X-member, no rust through and no separation.

I'd definitely save the frame. A GT Hawk frame is a sought-after replacement for a soft C/K frame. There are probably people right here on the Forum who need it.

Brake drums are getting to be in short supply. Especially the rear. Might keep them. What about the hood? Fan shroud? Trunk lid?

Is the driver's side horn working and available? It should be marked "Hi". Please let me know.

How about the trunk lid hinges? I could use a pair. I could even drive up there to pick them up. (I live in Jonesboro, I could bring my Hawk.)

The trunk lid hinges are there and do work, but they are stiff, needs lube. Come-n-getum. $20 for the pair.

There is a ds horn there but the bracket is very rusty and I doubt it will work. I looked at it and it is full of weeds and grass.

All four finned drums are there but I haven't pulled them yet. The car rolls freely when I pump the tires up but they leak down in about ten minutes. I will not pull the rear drums. The rear brakes are free because I pulled the park brake cable to apply the brakes so I could loosen the u-joint bolts. I will sell the rear drums with the rear axle assy. 3.31 open.
                          Hood is junk.
                          Trunk lid is junk.
Fan shroud is in tact but has surface rust, no holes or dents.

I don't know about that Gord. With the surface rust on this frame it's probably no thicker than the original 53-8 C-K.
