  • Better handling

Greetings. What do you guys recommend for a '64 Daytona 4Dr w/259 to improve handling. Mostly for the street, but who knows, maybe an occasional autocross. Sway bars F/R, springs, shocks??? Thanks. Bob

Sway bars front and rear, gas shocks, ditto. Lower expectations.

Who makes sway bars for these? I know where to get good shocks.

I was kind of jesting about the autocross, although it is fun to go scrub off some rubber and knock over cones.

        Look up ROADRACELARK

He has done wonders with his Lark. What works on other brands work
on Studes as well, bigger sway bars, better shocks, lower center of
gravity, lighten it up, bigger diameter wheels (up to 18") w/wider
tires are the norm. Sway Bars can be got from Tbow, better shocks
can be made to fit, my current plan is to use 90's Impala SS shocks
on my Avanti with early Stude lower shock plates in the rear. You
cant go wrong with Bilstein, though be prepared for 100 a shock. If
you are serious you should plan to at the least go with 16" wheels.
