"Car Talk" Puzzler Ans: Avanti/Avanti II (?)

Did anyone listen to Car Talk on PBS radio this morning? Do you think Vinnie bought a 63 Stude Avanti and an Avanti II?

I heard just a bit of it and since they mentioned Studebaker,I would doubt that it would an Avanti.

Program is broadcast nation wide on Public Radio Stations. It comes on at 9 am on Sat here in Iowa. They have a web site. Remember the Dodge Van and (I think) Dodge Dart who promoted "Rustees" (spelling?) in the movie "Cars"? Those are the guys!

It will be on your local PBS station generally around late saturday AM, but let me make a better suggestion.

Download I-tunes and search Car Talk in the I-tunes store> you will find it in podcasts. Download a ton of previous shows or just listen. You can also subscribe to the show and I-tunes will download it when you open Itunes. Best of all IT'S FREE (CASO baby). There are also a ton of other radio shows available. I listen to podcasts much more than I do radio or TV.

You only need to pay for music or audiobooks you download.

I heard this "puzzeler" this morning and my first thought was Avanti/Avanti II as well, but then with the comment about knowing Studebakers I also began to doubt that was it. I then thought of Checker.

Did the puzzler say what kind of car auction Vinnie attended?
I don't think Tommy saying "Studebaker" rules out the answer being Studebaker Avanti & Avant II.
