Any body heard anything about York? Vender count? It's a long way to drive for a small meet.

I made reservations at the Best Western last week and was told that all the rooms set aside for the Studebaker event were taken on Thursday night, but there were still some left for Friday and Saturday nights. Looks like people are planning on coming, whether or not they are vendors or not I don't know.

About 5 hrs. for me. If you're expecting gigantic, it's not. Usually one sizable building and one partial, plus some outside vendors. Also a car corral with anywhere from maybe 8 cars/trucks up to about 15 on Sat.

Small or large meet? That's a matter of opinion.

Here's a look at the buildings- the one on the left is usually 1/3-1/2 full. The one to the right is bigger and is filled. In the foreground is the car corral.

Here's a peek at part of the outdoor vendor area:

Oh, and I usually stay at the same place, $49/night- plain but clean, wi-fi, and just up the road from Hooters

I skipped it last year because it was so small in '08, but I heard it was better last year and wish I had attended. I did not come close to selling enough to make my expenses in '08, even though I got a super deal on airfare.

I had a conversation with Ted Jensen on Wednesday and he told me that he tried to get a spot inside and they were all taken.

I've been there many times but the last couple of years it seems the vender count has been down.
I talked to a fellow at Reedsville, and he said they were having trouble getting the first building filled. It's a 1100 mile drive (one way) so size matters.
