Appears we got a little fouled up on the numbering of photos. Will have to be a little more conscientious in the future.

        Whatever happened to #8?
The series jumped from #7 right to #9.

Makes me wonder if they just rolled out the same one with gold painted parts the next year. I bet the designers could have come up with a better looking seat for a publicity picture if asked, though. How hokey is that set up?
These pictures are all just great. Sure beats the magazine ads for sale on ebay as the only old Studebaker photos. Thanks, again.[^]

                  Tom,

Not a block of wood, but a factory parts box with 2 extra rear main seals.

Proof to the "rust belters" that the piece of wood keeping the seat from falling through the floor in their car is "factory".

Due to the prolonged time taken to perform a body off restoration by her husband, this lady was determined to drive her car to the shopping mall to do some shopping for the latest fashions! Unfortunately the engine overheated and seized when halfway there....

It's a promotional shot for the price leader V8 Lark, the 59V-F0.5 ... From the looks of it, the lady is very happy with her thrifty purchase.

The lively, air-cooled V8 is an engineering marvel! And the standard steering is SO light, that there's no need for economy-robbing power assist. [:X]
