  • trim clip part number needed

I don't have any books for cars, just trucks. Can anyone tell me the part number for the fastener that holds this piece of stainless on? It's on the "inside" of the tailfin on a '58 sedan. It's about half as narrow as a regular piece of beltline moulding.

I'm not positive, but I think the part # is 1326960.

1/8th inch drill bit and a no. 10 sheet metal screw should hold it on just fine. After all, it's just an old car.[}]

Okay Jerry.. I'll drill through the stainless, then bondo it up and paint it. That'll work!

Matt, I asked Mike if he knew what those clips may be, and he said try the Transtar two-tone Mldg. clips! [^] I know you have some of those just layin round!

Actually, I don't Rich. But I DO have some generic ones that I bought for that purpose. I'll try those on the sedan.

It's bad when you're driving down the road and the trim nearly falls off. Really makes a stainless guy look bad.

The number was good, but the clips are NLA. I have some generic clips that worked perfect. Thanks for the idea, Rich.
