  • Bleeding Brakes

I've never had any luck using the vacuum pump. You need a friend to depress the brake pedal. Also if your car has power brakes it could be that the air is trapped in the Hydrovac.

    Bleeding Brakes

I'm having a difficult time getting the brakes bled on my '55 with
an automatic trans. I had to replace the rear hard lines, but the
flexible line is good. Does the anti-creep valve need to be bled?
The shop manual doesn't mention this. I've bled them 3 or 4 times.
Last time I used a vacuum pump, and still have air in the brakes.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
