View Full Version : My dream Stude

Chucks Stude

While walking the dog over the holidays, I began to think about what would be my dream Stude, if I had the money. I know this is kinda random, but here is my idea of what I would like.
It would be a 2R5, and would look basically stock from the outside. Would have a short-narrow bed. It would be R-2 powered. Have a Tremec 5-speed, Dana 44 rear end, Turner brakes, airbag suspension(they have really come along in the last few years) and an aftermarket front suspension.
The wheels would look stock, but be wider.
The interior would look stock, with a hidden stereo, and a Vintage A/C. Must have a front visor.
Just a thought, how about you[8D]?

My dream Stude would be a White 1964 Wagonaire, Daytona trim level, with a red or blue interior.

But, I would love any Stude as equally as that one.

Mine involves two cars. A 54 hardtop and an SBC powered Avanti with some personal touchs and big power.

Funny how the cars in my signature remind me of my dream cars. ;)[:p]

I have about a half-dozen, but my top dream Stude is: 62 full-package Super Lark Daytona Skytop, R2 5-speed 44TT, disc brakes. I currently have the body with NOS fenders, grill, light assemblies, wiring harness, trim, Gib-Trac bars, Skytop roof, etc. Still need the trans. and adapter. Currently the project is mothballed due to both finances and time as I try to keep my business afloat. The upside is, the details continue to evolve- colors, wheels, sound system, which muffler type, etc. But the basic car is my ideal[:X] Someday fo' sho'......

I feel very fortunate to have my dream Stude, or dream car for that matter. Not to say that I am completely satisfied with it as it is, but being able to continue to make changes and improvements is part of what makes it my dream. [8D]
