This car was buried at the bottom of an ad for a '61 Plymouth "Belveder". The lone picture doesn't look bad and it is claimed to only have 48K on it. It may be a 4 door, but for only $550 bucks?

He's gonna send pix. He says he bought it to weld the rear doors shut and make it look like a T-bird Brougham. (!!) Flight-O-Matic, split seat, not sure if it reclines, some rust on rockers, rear tail lights, floors. Ran 2 years ago. He's also restoring an AMX.

Friendly informative guy.

As Lou Costello said in "[u]Africa Screams</u>", "somebody else, not me."

I'm truly sorry to say it, as nice as the owner has been, but in the pix he sent, super rust. Holes in both rear quarters up by the tail lights, no rocker panel and rust in the usual fender area on the driver's side. Nice front individual seats.

Good parts car.

I actually saw that car yesterday in my usual eBay shopping; kind of odd to hide it there. There's more than just the one photo:

It's been on and off Craigslist for about 6-8 months. I paid attention because of it's location but saw how bad it was back then[xx(] I thought about going to see it last summer on my way through but didn't get to it.

Maybe if it turns up around York time I'll see if I can make a deal.

That first, slightly backlit shot, makes one think "hm, maybe a nice driver!"...but those rear views offer another perspective in more ways than one. Still, rear quarters aren't that hard to find, are they. Wonder how bad the frame is?

Take it from a Northeast resident: If you can see that much rust on the outside, the underside is likely MUCH worse:( BTST.

Still, it would make a good donor for my 62 Daytona, instead of trying to unstick the engine in it...

I would switch the back door handles side for side and install them in the front of the doors, so it looks like a lincoln.

No need! They are all the same, just flip them over! [:0]

Really, that full-flow 259 V-8 and Flight-O-Matic is worth the money, even though that nice Green paint is about all that's left of that body and frame!
