Any suggestions on getting a radiator re-conditioned for a 57 GH in Va..... or any leads on a NOS one. The radiator looks fine but I'd much rather have a professional look at it and don't know where I should take it or what should be done to it.... thanks!

I suspect there is probably a shop in Fredericksburg. If, not, make a trip to Richmond and check with L&S Radiator. Just of I-64 less than a mile from the I-95/64 split.

Or if DC-land is more convenient to you, there's a shop at the end of my street (Falls Church) that rodded and resoldered the rad for my '55. I bet prices are better in Richmond though.

I am in GA and I have a beautiful 53 radiator that I am not using for my car and it only has a few bent fins but nothing a pair of needlenose pliers can't fix.

L and S in richmond has recored several radiators for me, high price but good work and he usually checks the heater core and valve for cheap. He has done several for me including 57 and two 56 GH's and 63 GT's and others. Every time I go up there the price of metal has increased a bit, but he (Jeff) does do good work.

53 won't work for him, he needs a taller rad. But I might be interested, is yours for a six or V-8? Originally I was looking for one to send off as a pattern to have a custom rad made but now I'd just want it for a spare "just in case" - my rad guy said mine was fine once he resoldered it.
thanks
