I have a 1951 Kaiser Deluxe two door Traveler. I'm an orphan so I joined the Studebaker club in Fresno.

Welcome Herb. You need a bullet nose coupe to keep that Kaiser company. Be careful, this place is adicting.

Welcome Herb! I've said before that, for my money, the '51 Dutch Darrin "Anatomic" Kaisers were, along with the '53 Stude coupes and hardtops by Bob Bourke, the finest American car designs of the fifties.

Herb has been with our chapter for a while. He's the Herb mentioned here that got to drive three Studebakers on Int'l Drive Your Studebaker Day:

And if you don't know what a Kaiser Traveler is, it's an early hatchback. Looks like a normal sedan, but the trunk and rear glass open as one unit. If Herb doesn't have photos of his really nice car, I'm sure Anne will post some for all to see.

I really like the late Kaiser styling. Had a Dragon for a time in the 70s. Welcome to the forums Herb![^]

Herb, for what it's worth, Kaiser has some ties to Studebaker. Brooks Stevens designed automobiles for Kaiser (including your car) and Studebaker. That is why a 1963 Kaiser Jeep Wagoneer looks so much like a 1963 Studebaker Wagonaire. And when Studebaker quit producing cars & trucks (including military & postal trucks) in Indiana, it was Kaiser that took over the business of producing military & postal trucks in the old Studebaker plant. By the way, I like your car!

Kaisers are always welcome among Studebaker people. Notice no one is telling you to get rid of it, they're telling you to add to it. Love the car and the Kaiser. Looking at them gives me the same kind of relaxed warmth I feel when I go in my garage and see my Studebaker. Until my Hudson arrives and then I feel sweet satisfaction again. Welcome.

Welcome from Australia Herb, what a beautiful car. I don't imagine many (or any?) Kaiser/Frazer vehicles are in Australia.
